On February 2022 and in line with the 2nd year of ICCD global campaign, MAHAK installed a tree of life for patients, their families, and the medical team at its hospital’s waiting room for two weeks. In commemoration of the ICCD 2022, YAI intensely held a webinar on cancer in children via Zoom for primary healthcare center medical personnel in Eastern Indonesia on 10 Feb in Southeast Sulawesi, 17 Feb in Central Sulawesi, 24 Feb in Gorontalo, 7 Apr in Maluku, 14 Apr in North Maluku. Zagreb Electric Tram and the Firefly marked the International Childhood cancer day by placing flags with the Firefly logo and a golden ribbon on trams. On February 15th, 2022 Firefly association organized awareness raising action near main square in Zagreb. Volunteers, survivors and employees were busting the myths about childhood cancer and answering questions from citizens. They promoted the vision, mission and goal of the Association which is to improve quality of life, social inclusion, rights of children and young ICCD – NSH Kolkata Team conducted Magic show inside the hospital for kids to have an entertainment on International Childhood Cancer Day after those kids were write Note of Gratitude in the chart wall after that Gifts and Refreshment were provided to all kids and bystanders.
