Activity 1:
To observe the International Childhood Cancer Day and spread awareness on childhood cancer, HOPE social workers and Amala hospital social work trainees have put up an ICCD stall at the Thrissur Amala hospital premises. Fr. Julius Arakkal CMI, Director Amala Hospital, Thrissur district, Kerala, India, inaugurated the program.
Doctors, hospital staff, volunteers, and the general public made colourfull handprints on the tree of life canvas, distributed awareness leaflets to the general public, and observed the day.
Activity 2:
Our International childhood Cancer Day public awareness program at Sakthan bus stand, Thrissur district, Kerala, India, went out very fruitfully.
