The YKAKI Jakarta #BeraniGundul2022 was held on February 12, 2022 offline at Rumah Kita YKAKI with a series of haircut events, flash moob for parents of cancer sufferers and YKAKI staff, and selling merchandise.
We gathered children with cancer, that are followed in our service. We asked them to paint their hands and we did their handprints on a board. We found logs from trees and glued to the board to imitate the trunk of a tree
On the 11th, we organized an art based event at Wadia Hospital HaematOncology Department in which children made streamers with the outline of their palms spelling out messages of gratitude for the doctors, nurses and volunteers caring for them.
